The project’s purpose
2018 was a landmark year for Takeda: first, it was declared the year of cultural exchange between Russia and Japan, and second, the company celebrated 25 years of its presence in the Russian pharmaceutical market. To emphasize the importance of this event, it was decided to use in all presentation and promotional materials of the brand during the year a special anniversary logo. The creative development of this special logo was carried out by the Studio.

When writing the brief, Takeda people asked us to use in it several notions about the company values in addition to the direct message about the 25th anniversary. These notions were: love for Russia, care for patients and continuous development of the company. Besides, while inventing the logo it was necessary to keep in mind the possibility of its usage both independently and together with the main logo of the company.

What has been done
Our designers managed to meet all these requirements, despite the fact that the format of the logo would not allow to convey a complex message. The symbol of care for patients in Russia was conveyed by the intertwined hearts executed in the colors of the Russian flag (red is also the brand color of Takeda company). The tape that is the base of the logo hints at continuous development. On the basis of this logo we developed a set of stylistic elements that can be used alongside it in the decorations of corporate events and in souvenirs.
